Designed to stand upright on a desk or a bureau, a photo frame makes a perfect gift. Photo frames come in standard sizes from 3-1/2 x 5” to 11 x 14” in a wide variety of styles and finishes.
For those on a budget and have artwork that lends itself to standard sizes, The Framer’s Loft has a modest selection of wall and poster frames. From 5 x 7” to 24 x 36”, most ready-made frames are supplied with backing and either glass or styrene plastic. Popping your art into them is a snap.
For a contemporary look of framing art without a frame, sandwich your art between backing and glass and hold it together with a Uni-Frame®. Adjustable from 10 inches to 40 inches, these finger-like “frames” are reusable so you can recycle them for your next project.
And The Framer’s Loft has a quality selection of oval and hard-to-find round frames, too.
Providing both protection and decoration, mats focus attention to your art. Choosing from over six hundred colors and textures, The Framer’s Loft can provide the accompaniment to make your art truly special. Using acid-free or "rag" mats with white or black bevels, we can cut from one to a score of windows with rectangular, oval, and round openings.
Adding fabrics like suede, silk, or linen; surfaces in marble, intaglio or moire´; and designs reflecting southwestern, victorian or oriental motifs, we can create a unique enhancement to your art. Or embellish your mat with V-cuts, French lines and panels, or strips of English cockerel or Japanese Kozu papers.
